We currently have some limited availability for new adult clients. Appointments are available in person or via telehealth during business hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. After hours appointments are not currently available.
While you are waiting for an appointment, you may find your General Practitioner is able to provide support, or you may wish to access supports such as Lifeline 13 11 14 and Kids Helpline 1800 55 1800.
When working with young people aged 16 and under, we will request that parent(s) /caregiver(s) attend(s) an initial intake appointment. While young people’s self-reports become increasingly reliable as they age, they are not able to provide a full developmental history. Depending on the referral, this intake appointment may be with / without the young person in attendance. For subsequent sessions with the young person, parents will be invited to attend the end of sessions when appropriate. Where parents are separated, we ask that both parents are informed and consent to counselling. We are happy to work collaboratively with other doctors and Allied Health professionals when appropriate. Please note that at this time we have very limited appointment availability outside of school hours.
